COIN GRADING

Goldline's coins are currently graded by the two most respected grading services: PCGS and NGC.

Certified precious metals coinages are inspected by numismatists that assign certain grades by assessing the coin's condition. Coins graded "circulated" show wear and tear and are designated as "AU" (about uncirculated), "G" (good), "VG" (very good, "F" (fine) and "XF" (extra fine). The highest designation for a circulated coin is AU.

Coins that show no wear are designated "uncirculated." They may be generically referred to as "Brilliant Uncirculated" or "BU" coins. If graded, BU coins will have a minimum grade of Mint State 60 (MS-60). The "Mint State" ("MS") system of grading grades uncirculated coins on a scale of 1-70; coins graded between MS-60 and MS-70 represent the perfect coin.
